Hello, I am Dr. Paul Gilbert and this is my story.
My Childhood:
My mother was a big influence on my passion for nutrition and health. In the days before television became common, my mother would turn on the radio to listen to a gentleman named Carlton Fredericks. I remember she sat glued in front of the kitchen radio, listening to everything he was saying. Years later, I discovered that he was a pioneer nutritionist who firmly believed that food is your best medicine.
My father also influenced me in the way of a more traditional medical model, because he was a dentist, practicing in a dental office in my home in Brooklyn, New York City. I grew up quite literally in a dental office.
Because my father always earned a nice income, money was never an issue and my mother never needed to work at a traditional job. My father did not have a business in the usual sense either. In his time, dental boards strictly regulated dental practices as professions. This meant that commercialism of any kind, including advertising, was not allowed.
From this part of my childhood I learned two important things. First, people who held jobs, like most of my neighbors, did not earn nearly as much money as my father did. Second, having a job, where someone else could tell me what to do, was something I knew I was not going to like.
Becoming a dentist:
The influence of both of my parents expressed itself when I decided to enter dental school, and become a dentist, just like my dad. I am sure my parents were quite proud of me when I became a dentist, graduating in 1962 from a very prestigious Thomas W. Evans Museum and Dental Institute, at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia.
After practicing traditional dentistry for about fifteen years, I started to better understand how anything that gets into the human body has either a negative or a positive impact on health, just as Carlton Fredericks had been saying years earlier. Eventually my thinking became totally holistic, and I decided to burn my traditional dental bridges. I stopped using mercury silver dental fillings, and threw away everything connected with these filings. In my head and my heart, I had become a biological dentist, and I started practicing with that in mind for everything I did for patients, especially not using fillings with mercury. As a result of this new path in my dental career, I eventually realized that I was starting to personally develop a part of me that I was not aware of before; I liked being at the front edge of change.
In spite of the changes, dentistry was still being treated as though it was only a profession, and not a business. Advertising was forbidden by the dental board, and marketing was considered unethical. So I was never exposed to the learning atmosphere or skills development needed to be a successful entrepreneur. Without business skills, and good personal skills, I found it difficult to make the excellent income I was led to believe would just fall in my lap. Although I set my own very high standards for the dental care I provided, I found out that this was not enough to become financially successful. So here I was, at the front edge of the whole holistic revolution going on in dentistry and medicine, and providing treatment I was proud of, yet still not being fulfilled as an income earner. It was very frustrating for me.
My introduction to the business world:
It was about this time that I was introduced to my first non-dental, true business venture. Someone at a meeting approached me about a new kind of business I would really like. That is how I was introduced to Amway and network marketing. This unique type of business was at the cutting edge of an entirely new business concept - work from your home and earn commissions from other people you enroll as either product users or as distributors who use the products of the compny. So here I was again exposing my self to a non-traditional way of doing things
The network marketing industry has now fully matured into a business model that is gaining popularity world wide because of its ability to allow anyone to earn, with personal training and minimal start up costs, a really good part time income or an excellent full time income, from the comfort of their homes. As a result of the industry growth of network marketing, I have found an outstanding company called Simplexity Health. This company has the extremely high business ethics, the stability associated with a company that has been in business for twenty five years, and best of all, provides a remarkable line of green whole food supplement products derived entirely from natural and organically grown foods. Every one of these supplements can help you functionally improve your health. So, I am now a proud Independent Business Associate for Simplexity Health, with my own business, Organics America.
Where I am now:
I have finally retired from dentistry and continue to love what I do by now educating people on the ways they can personally enhance their health and find their path to wellness by all natural means, using the wonderful products from Simplexity Health. And with network marketing, I also love being able to show people how they can enhance their wealth and find their path to financial security. Think of what that could mean to you. A new house by the beach, vacations to exotic places, or just being able to send your children to the best schools. Imagine what it is like to live where you please, set your own hours, and buy the things you have always dreamed of owning, but, until now, thought you could not afford.
The brilliant concept of network marketing:
As unique as network marketing may be, it is really a very simple business concept. You do not have to change yourself in any way, to be a part of this referral marketing business opportunity. Basically, we introduce and market all natural, organic green food based health products directly to consumers, people like you and me, so they can look and feel a whole lot better. We also find entrepreneurs who want to partner with us and do the same thing, which means they can make a really good part time income or an excellent full time income, and have a great time earning it.
The company pays very well to do this because that is how they grow.
Do you think you could do something like that if we showed you what to do?
