Never underestimate the power
of the encouraging words: ´The lifestyle is real´
Just before August Celebration, I emailed Susan and Chuck Thompson and said, ´Don’t give up on your dream to become Double Diamond.... the lifestyle is REAL´. Susan liked that phrase so much that she put it on her refrigerator. In December, she invited me to speak, along with Dorotha Massey, at her San Diego meeting in January. The announcement went over the web via our chat room, and some of you asked for REAL stories…so I get a chance to share more with you all.
Sharing is one of the things I love to do, and I´m so blessed to be able to share with you while I´m sitting in my RV at a hot springs resort in the Palm Springs area. Simplexity Health and YOU make this possible for me. Why do I say YOU? You may not be in my downline, and yet it is your energy, your love for the algae, your willingness to share this life-changing opportunity, your support and your love that encourage me.
You see, encouragement is a part of our Simplexity culture, I believe. Many times, I´ve felt that I was the only one......the only one doing all the training....the only one left after all the others moved on.....the only one unsure of what do now.
My Simplexity ´Angels´ helped me: From my upline who let me know that, even if I lost my way, they knew I had within me what it takes to succeed, to my cross-line family with their sharing of ideas. There are miracles happening all the time, and I´m continually being re-inspired.
When I began in 1992, I told my upline not to expect me to ´sell this stuff.´ In 1993, after great algae experiences, I started working the business, and in January of 1995 became Double Diamond. Did I do all this alone? No. Did I FEEL alone sometimes? Yes. We had no business-building systems in the very beginning, yet the subsequent tape system and the hyper-growth helped me and my downline to succeed.
When I started, I was living in a small home, as a single mom of two teenage boys. Money was very, very tight. When I decided....and I stress DECIDED...to give this a try for at least a year, more and more miracles came to me. As I ALLOWED my good to come to me and overcame the idea that I needed to work so hard for everything, more and more changes occurred.
Over the next few years, I realized that one can be even more effective in the community and spiritual WITH money than without. Less stress, more connection to Source Energy, God, Higher Power, whatever you name it. I don´t consider myself overly materialistic, yet I did have some ´toys´ that I wanted: a cell phone, laptop computer, RV, newer car and a nicer home. In less than 4 years, I had ALL of those. I began to travel more and create downline all over the West Coast. I had lots of fun and my ´work´ was like play to me.
I encourage all of us to ASK for what we want, and VISUALIZE what YOUR life will be like as a Blue Green Diamond ----a sparkling model for all to see. WRITE your future journals, goals and business plans. INTEND to succeed and ACT when it feels like the next appropriate thing to do. RELAX often and know that sometimes you find business builders when you´re on vacation. Just as I did one year here at Caliente Hot Springs Resort....... And, that´s another story for another time.
